Periodontology Rounds
Last revised: 31 October 2026
Every patient in the app is invented. The histories, charts, decisions and debriefs are a teaching summary for dentists and dental students. They are not a diagnostic aid and must not be used to diagnose, stage, treat or plan the care of a real person.
Teaching only
The teaching follows the 2017 World Workshop classification of periodontal and peri-implant diseases and the EFP S3-level clinical practice guidelines, as published. Guidelines change, and real patients differ from any case. Check current guidance and the product information for any drug, and use your own clinical judgement.
Do not change your care because of this app. Ask your dentist or periodontist. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
We check the cases carefully but cannot promise they are error-free. Found something wrong? Tell us at adrinasoftware@gmail.com — corrections ship in the next update.
The app is sold through the App Store and Google Play under their terms of sale and standard licences (on Apple devices, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement). Refunds go through Apple or Google.
The cases, texts, charts and drawings were made for this app and may not be copied or passed on. The app is independent and has no link to the American Academy of Periodontology, the European Federation of Periodontology or any licensing or examining body.
We are fully liable for intent, gross negligence and under mandatory product-liability law. Beyond that, and as far as the law permits, we are not liable for decisions taken on the strength of the app's content. German law applies; the mandatory consumer protections of your own country stay in force.
